Q‑Points
🏦 Family points banking system

Good grades in.
Points out.
Money sense for life.

Q‑Points gives every child their own account, their own balance and their own reward store. You award points for good grades, completed homework, assignments, and science projects; they learn what things cost, what saving feels like, and why hard work pays off.

Free to set up · No real money is ever moved · Children never see an email address or a card

Three moving parts, and that is all

The whole system is a loop a six‑year‑old can hold in their head.

1

Reward grades & projects

Set point values for homework, high test scores, assignments, and science projects. Children submit their achievements; nothing is credited until you approve it.

2

They earn and decide

Points land in their own balance. Spend now on a small treat, or hold out for the thing on the top shelf — the trade‑off is the lesson.

3

You stock the store

Screen time, snacks, outings, a real toy — you choose the items and the prices. Every redemption comes to you for a yes or a no.

What is included

Every part is optional. Switch a module off and it disappears from your family's app entirely — start with assignments and a store, add the rest when you are ready.

Point Management Engine

Inline balance changes with smart presets, straight from the dashboard.

Assignments & Tasks Approvals

Approve or send back completed homework and assignments in a single batch.

Store & Redemptions

A short list of redemption requests waiting for a decision.

Peer Point Transfers

Children send points to each other, with optional parent sign-off.

Infractions & Fines Engine

Individual and group penalties, with a 24-hour appeal window.

Weekly Budget Planner

Plan the week, log what really happened, then reconcile against the ledger.

Action Badges

Bronze / silver / gold recognition for honesty, budgeting and streaks.

Guided Onboarding

One learning module at a time, in priority order, snoozable for a day.

Family Stock Market

Mock companies built from your store categories, traded with play money.

Games Arcade

Mini-games that reinforce the money skills the rest of the app teaches.

A world they actually want to open

Same balance, same goals — 4 different worlds. Each child picks their own, and can change it whenever they like.

Campus Quest

Bright academy grounds with a world map and quest cards.

Quest Map

Parchment and gold adventure board.

Superhero City

Bold comic panels on a halftone night sky.

Arcade Sprint

Cabinet-style run panel with a lime score column.

Built for children, so built carefully

No real money

Points are play currency. There is no card, no wallet and no payment processor anywhere in the system.

Children sign in separately

A child signs in with their own code and a short PIN. They never need an email address, and they cannot reach your admin screens.

Nothing moves without you

Approved homework, store redemptions and point transfers between siblings all wait for an adult decision. Every change is written to an audit log.

Safe on a shared device

Turn on the activity PIN and your account becomes view‑only until you unlock it — handy when the family tablet is left on the kitchen table.

Start with one child and one assignment

Setting up a family bank takes a couple of minutes. You can add the rest whenever it suits.
